In Memory of
Paul Stephen Martin

As many of you know by
now, Beth’s brother, Paul, passed away on January 29th,
after a ten-month-long battle with cancer. It was a great loss for
our family, but a great gain for Paul, as he is now with his Lord in
heaven. Please pray for the Martin family during this difficult
time.
We are very grateful
that Beth had the opportunity to travel to the States and spend
several days with Paul before his passing. The trip was made
possible by her cousin,
Randy Gilbert,
who was able to get the ticket for her through his job.
Thanks, Randy!
Beth was able to be at her brother’s side for those final days and
to help
Paul’s wife, Lisa,
during this difficult time in her life.
In honor of Paul’s
love for the Lord, the Martin family has decided to set up a
revolving memorial fund for printing the Word of God in foreign
languages. If you are interested in sending a gift for this fund,
please make your check out to
“The Paul Martin Memorial Bible Printing Fund”.
Our sending church is handling the memorial fund for the Martin
family. Please send your gift to the address listed at the bottom
of this page.
Paul will be missed,
but his testimony for our Lord and the impact his life had on
countless lives continues on.
We shall meet on that Beautiful Shore!

Third Anniversary
of
Truth Baptist Mission
The first Sunday of
February, we celebrated our third anniversary at the third church
here in Guatemala. We had a good service with
54 in attendance,
including several first-time visitors.
Pastor Tomás Avendaño,
of Faith Baptist Church in Villa Nueva was our speaker.

We praise the Lord for
the lives that he has changed and continues to change over that last
three years. God has given us several faithful families that are
actively involved in
the
ministry here. We are looking forward to what the Lord will continue
to do, both in their individual lives, as well as the life of the
church as a whole. Continue to uplift the brethren here in your
prayers as we will be away for several months this year on furlough.
More Souls Saved
and Baptized

The Lord is good
and continues to add to the church “such as would be saved” –
Amen! The last several months there have been several souls
saved and following the Lord in believer’s baptism, forming a
apart of this local church in Guatemala City.
Please pray for
Rodrigo Quezada, Alma López, Juan Alberto González and Aída
González.
