Due to the continued increase in postage here in Guatemala, the total costs for sending out our prayer letters now is more than $ 1.00 per letter. While that may not sound too extreme, when you consider that we send out around 125 letter each time, that’s a considerable amount of money invested.
Therefore, I would like to request of those of you who have email, to consider allowing us to use email prayer letters as an alternative. This would allow us to report more often, more timely, as well as reduce expenses for sending out letters. The regular prayer letter would be sent as Microsoft Word attachment that would be formatted and in color, just as the regular letter. More periodic updates would be sent in the form of a regular email. If we do not hear from you, we will assume that you would like to continue receiving a prayer letter via regular mail.
